You get a bit exhausted from the noise or the intensity of everything that’s happening. I don’t know whether it’s just being younger back then or remembering it wrongly – maybe it was really super-intense and fast, noisy opinions, and hundreds of ways of doing the same thing, and so many choices – but I don’t remember it being like that.

Following the release of his latest album Turn The Car Around, DEK welcomes singer-songwriter and musician Gaz Coombes to issue 07. We discuss the production and writing process of his 4th solo project, new tools for inspiration and how times have changed in Gaz’s 30+ years in the music industry.

DEK 07 is set for release in March 2023.
